This Italy photo workshop is perfect for both emerging and professional photographers who want to expand their creative vision, capture stunning images, and experience Italian culture in a way few travelers ever do. Location

Our home base for the workshop is Casale San Cristoforo, a beautifully restored countryside property on the Coldipozzo hills overlooking the medieval hilltop town Montone. The group will gather here each morning before traveling to our shooting locations, and we’ll return here for our final afternoon session and farewell dinner.

Accommodations

Accommodations are not included in the workshop fee. Participants are free to choose lodging that fits their preferences and budget.

After registration, we’ll send a list of recommended hotels, agriturismos, and guesthouses in the area, with options across a range of price points.

Travel & Airports

The closest airports are Perugia San Francesco d'Assisi Airport, Leonardo da Vinci–Fiumicino Airport, and Florence Airport.

Many participants choose to rent a car from Rome or Florence and drive to Umbria, which allows for flexibility during the workshop and is a beautiful way to see the countryside. Detailed directions and travel tips will be shared with registered participants.

Transportation

Transportation during the workshop is not included, as many participants will already have a rental car while traveling in Italy. We typically coordinate informal carpooling within the group, so only a few people need to drive each day while others can ride along.
